Learning more about aspergers syndrome

I’ve lived with the diagnosis aspergers since I was 18 (~). During this time the only things I’ve learned have been from myself, it would be nice to learn from HAB about what aspergers really are and what usually is the problem for people with asperger.

So I’ve signed up for a lecture/group about asperger. I plan on writing down everything I learn here on the blog for future reference and I really hope we can begin soon!

Buy a DS game

So I finally bought a DS game! (one that I payed for myself that is, had two before that mom and dad payed for).

MediaMarkt had an offer with Pokemon heartGold (with pokewalker, woho!) for 149 kr, I’m a happy owner of it now – even though I’ve played the silver version once I could not resist… Let the playing commence!

Server in the works…

I traded my old mobile phone for my boyfriends old computer. Win-win situation for us both. He needed a phone, and I wanted a computer to use as a home server.
It now have ubuntu server installed and 2 hard drives on it, one is not formatted yet though. unfortunately my screen died before I could set up so you could connect to it from the outside – this means both my gaming computer and my server is inaccessible at the time.

I’m going slightly nuts, but it’s okay – because I’ve wished for a new one for christmas… Hopefully I get one.
Then I’m so going to game and fix the server!

But technically the goal is complete. I have a computer to use as a home server. Woo

Meeting my awesome new friends

Okay, so. I went to Stockholm the 31/10 (went home 6/11) and during that time among other things I went home to Markk and myran and slept there, then we went over to kodapa and had a lan party! Woop!

I still like them as much as I did before I met them IRL. And they were even kind enough to walk me to the bus so I could get home when I started to feel I would get a panic attack.
Most importantly they kept me fed thursday-saturday because I was extremely poor then (still am, waiting for money as I write this)

I must say that Kiva is one of the best concepts I’ve seen around. You lend the amount of money (a minimum of $25) you feel you can afford to the project you feel speak to your heart.

I lended money to a seamstress in south america, she has now started to pay me back.  I’m glad to see that this kind of project works.

You use paypal to pay, so it’s completely safe.

Learning how to crochet

One night I had trouble sleeping – and I finally understood how to crochet, just like that. I haven’t really started any project since I feel I don’t have the time right now, but to get a reminder if I ever need it I’m gonna post some video links here!

New bike!

Well at the beginning of summer I felt the need of a bike, and since my old one is practically dead (or so I heard), I searched and searched for a new one, not having that much money it was a used one I was looking for.
Luckily I found one not far from where I live, it only costed me 700 SEK and it was blue and silver, pretty colors!

The bike is 26″ but the saddle is a little to high for me so I need to find a tool and lower it a bit.

The only downside is that it dosent have a rack to have bags and stuff on, but I guess it’s fixable if you really want to.

There won’t be a picture, I dont really see the point in taking a picture of a bike.

There’s a plan to buy a bicycle basket too!

Going on a cruise

When my mom turned XX (Secret. haha) years old I bought us tickets to go on a cruise.
We went 4/8-11 at 7 in the morning, that ment getting up at 3.45. Ugh. Luckily I had bought food tickets on the buffet on board so we just went to the ship and had breakfast after finding where we could sleep.

We went to Åbo. unfortunately during dinner I had no wish to eat. So I went to our cabin and we took my temperature, 38.2 degrees C! Fever! So I spent half the cruise in bed because I was feeling ill, but we had a nice time anyways – a bit of bonding is never wrong.

and of course I only drank children’s drinks, as we traveled with Silja Line they were all named after Mumintroll! WOHO I say!

I didn’t have my camera so no pictures, but I guess you know how a cruise ship looks like? Big and stuff.
